Hi there,

As per your query, i want to inform that for getting a government college in Uttar Pradesh, the cut off goes around 580 - 640 for MBBS seats.

However, for private colleges it usually ranges between 155 - 440.

For BDS, Govt seats, the cut off goes around 110 - 140.

Please note that these are according to the previous year trends which are subject to many factors which fluctuate each year like the seat matrix, the difficulty of exam and the students appearing.

Please check here the cut offs to be more sure about the same: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

In 2019, under State Quota, 575 marks secured a seat in GMC, Bahraich under General Category. That was the cut off. So with a score of 540, it is difficult for a seat in Government College. But you can geta s eat under Government Quota of Private Colleges like:

  • Era Medical College
  • Shri Ram Murthy Smarak Medical College
  • IIMSR, Lucknow

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
