Dear student,

If you have passed your class 12th first time in 2019, then for JEE advanced you have still no more attempt left.
Because in JEE advanced you can give maximum up to two attempts and these two attempts are counted from your class 12th passing year.
That means you can give jee advanced exam in your class 12th passing year and the next consecutive year. And it also doesn't matter that whether you have given JEE advanced or not your attempt will be counted as over. So that means, this jee advanced 2020 was your last attempt.

But in Jee mains, you are given a maximum of three attempts, that is first attempt in your class 12th passing year, second attempt in the next consecutive year, and the third attempt - the alternate year of your class 12th passing year.
That means if you have given JEE mains 2019, then your first attempt is over. And this jee main 2020 was your second attempt. And now you have only one attempt left in jee mains, i.e, jee mains 2021.

And you cannot give jee advanced 2021, as your last attempt was over in 2020. It doesn't matter that you have given your class 12th once again in 2020, you are not still not eligible to give jee advanced as you were left with only one chance for jee advanced, that is, this year.

Also note that this year the class 12th passing criteria of 75% has been given a relaxation.

Hey.

1st of all congrats for your clearing the exam.

The JEE mains score is valid for 2 years, since you have already cleared jee mains, you can attempt 2021 jee advanced. Many students clear their class 12 and dropout for a year to prepare for JEE. So in your case, you didn't dropout but wrote exam. Thus, you can write you JEE advanced in 2021.

I hope I answered your questions.

Feel free to ask any doubts in the comments.

Good Luck
