Hi, I secured an AIR 2050 with Gate score 611 in GATE 2019. My paper code was EC and I secured 80.8% marks in 12th WB State Board. I am applying for M.Tech. admission this year through COAP2021. What is my chances to get admisiion in IITs/NITs? Also in which subject I can get admission into?

see gate score is valid for three years and you may get chances for selection in NITS or IIITS based on gate score on relevant discipline related with electronics and communication engineering. now coming to cutoff score it varies every year and depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category and so on. considering you as general category you have chances in below mentioned Institute:

nit durgapur-  vlsi and microelectronics,

nit delhi- Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialisation in VLSI

IIIT allahabad- ECE
