Yes you are definitely elligible for CA CPT examination. But being from science stream background you have to put an extra effort to clear the examination, as you are not through with the basics. At CPT level, you need to know the fundamental concepts of Accounting, law, economics ,QA. As you know CA exams are not easy to crack. It is always a point of worry for CA students as to how to get through successfully with the CA examination with such a cutting edge competition and so less pass percentage. But the fact is that the right guidance along with right efforts made in the right direction can help You to clear the CA examination. If you are determined to do CA then go for it. I would suggest you to join good coaching classes for accounts. Rest all subjects can be completed through self study.
