Hello Mr. Suresh,
Getting an MBBS seat in a top medical college from the All India Quota (AIQ) will be extremely unlikely with a 533562 rank in NEET, even under the ST category. But there may still be a few ST quota seats available at the state level, especially in the North Eastern states, remote medical colleges with lower cutoffs, and state level seats. So,
Hello Aspirant,
With a NEET All India Rank of approximately 5,33,562 and belonging to the ST category, there is still a slight possibility of securing a government MBBS seat, though it will be highly competitive. In previous years, ST category candidates with ranks up to 5–5.3 lakh have managed to get MBBS seats under the All India Quota (15%) or through their respective state quota in less competitive states, especially in the mop-up or stray vacancy rounds. However, admission will depend on several factors like your state domicile, availability of ST-category seats, and the cutoff trends for the current year. It is strongly advised to register for both AIQ (via MCC) and your respective state counselling. Keep an eye on seat allotment rounds including mop-up and stray rounds, as ST cutoffs tend to vary and often go higher in the final rounds.
All the best for the counselling process.
