LPU receives highest NAAC grade i.e. A++ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education , Government of India .

Dear candidate , Yes you can take admission in diploma stream after 10th class in LPU . In Diploma in Fashion Design course , students will get  clear perspective of fashion design while learning pattern making and garment construction in this hands-on program. The eligibility of programme is -  Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with English) or equivalent.

In addition , the electives courses that are offered within the discipline gives more depth or breadth to a student's core competencies such as - fashion retailing , history of western costumes , history of Indian costumes , International immersion program , seminar on summer internship , introduction to fashion merchandising , study tour craft and development etc.

Moreover, the programme specific outcomes are -

  • Create designs and represent it using various media.
  • Create garments and products with desired finish.
  • Demonstrate use of manufacturing and merchandising tools in fashion industry.

I hope this helps

Hello,

To study Fashion Designing in Under Graduate or Diploma level you must have passed 10+2. The minimum Education requirement is 10+2. SO you cannot study Fashion Design course  after 10th. After completion of 10+2 you can apply for entrance exams such as NIFT, UCEED, NID DAT, CEED and other other examinations to secure admission. The eligibility criteria will be different for each exam/institute so you have to check the eligibility criteria before applying for any entrance examination. You have to apply only if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. The admission will be based on merit in the entrance examination.
