Hiii,

To calculated NEET percentile there are two ways...

1) Marks Based

It is the most easy way. To understand more clearly let's take an example, suppose that you scored 600 marks in NEET and highest score obtained by topper was 705 then percentile can be calculated as follows:

(600 × 100) / 700 = 85.15 percentile

2) Rank Based

It is bit typical . But you can understand it  by an example . Let's assume that you got 80 rank in NEET exam and the total number of students appeared in the exam were 6,00,000 then your percentile will be ....

[ (6,00,000 - 80) / 6,00,000 ] × 100 = 99.98

To clear NEET exam one should atleast score 50 percentile . In order to get a admission into a good private college you should score above 500 and for govt. Colleges above 650.......and for BDS you should score above 450 so that there may be trouble (general category)

Best of Luck!!

Hi , formula for calculating percentile is by taking the product of your marks x 100 and divide this product by the highest mark obtained by the top ranker. This is how you calculate your percentile based on the marks.

Regarding marks to secure a seat in mumbai was 553 for general category in KJ Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre, Mumbai under 70% state quota and 546 in terna medical college from general category under 30% state quota .
In BDS 416 scored a last seat in mahatma gandhi missions de tal college and hospital ,navi mumbai from general category under 70% state quota and 448 in tje same college under 30% state quota . You didn't mention your category so I told you about general.
So as per last year marks you need to score 600+ to increase your chances of getting a seat in college of your choice .
Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.
