Hey,

No, you don't need a financial status of 60 lacs. You will have to clear examination like IELTS for getting admission in Canada for masters. You will need money for education, accomodation, travelling, etc. But there is nothing like you need to have any sufficient money to get Visa. The basic requirements for visa are:

Passport or any other valid travel document
Acceptance letter from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI)
Proof of sufficient funds to support the travel and stayLetter of invitation and/or medical exam certificate
Completed VFS Consent Form
Documents based on the visa type

You will need around 6-8 lacs of fund.
