GATE exam is conducted annually by IITs for recruitment by various PSUs and admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other colleges that take admission through GATE.

GATE in CSE can be given by candidates from all branches. As you have plenty of time to prepare, you can comfortably do it. First thing that you need to do is check out the syllabus of CSE, then take the most preferred books for each topic, or you can also join some coaching institutes. One important thing to keep in mund is to practice well and be ready with all the theoretical concepts.
