Hi aspirant,
This first session of JEE Main in January was successfully conducted and the result were also announced on time. The second JEE Main which was to be conducted in April got postponed on account of Covid19 pendemic. The examination was delayed throughout the lockdown and now it has been scheduled to be conducted from September 1 to 6. The JEE Advanced is scheduled to be conducted on September 27. Taking the COVID19 pendemic into consideration it has been already been declared that JEE Advanced would not be held at foreign centers.
As far as its occurrence or postponement is concerned, two PIL has been filed in Supreme court from the parents side. On one side they are demanding its further postponement taking health and safety of students into consideration. The other side is requesting MHRD to conduct it on scheduled time. As of now there has not been any official news regarding further postponement.
It has been already too late and a lot of time has gone wasted. Our education ministry should adopt appropriate and healthy methods to conduct these entrance examination on time. It should ensure that the life and health of students is not risked and safeguarded. Let us hope for the best.
Instead of paying attention on this issue you should put your 100% effort on preparation and continue your studies as usual. Wish you all the best.
