Hi.My cutoff is 186 out of 200. I Belong to most backward class category. Am I eligible of getting seat through anna university counselling.

Hello student,
Yes, you can get a seat through the counseling. If you are exactly enquiring about the Anna university, College of engineering, Guindy campus, then yes, you have chances of procuring a seat there. But courses like CSE or ECE seems impossible as they are the most opted ones among the candidates and require a cut off above 190. But you have good chances of getting printing technology there. Also, one fact is that, With a cut off difference of 0.25, you will be pushed behind a lot of candidates, which makes your chances a little lower. Scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure.
