As you have to gibe paper 1 first then if you not feel satisfied with your first attempt you can go for second chance also
Well, probably because IITs want to give a secondchance to aspirants on the same day itself. Students giving JEE Advanced have prepared hard for 2 years, attended coaching, compromised on sleep and social life and what not. This single day means a lot to them and their future depends on it. Even if for some reason Paper 1 doesnt go well, potentially capable students still have a chance to perform stellar in Paper 2 and guarantee a seat in the IITs.

A second possible reason could be that IITs are not able to test the fundamental understanding of all the topics mentioned in the JEE syllabus as its so vast. Two 3-hour papers help IITs in accomplishing this.
And you next question is about id jee advanced AAT you can appear this exam after qualifing the jee advanced exam you can sit for this exam
