The placement data of every year of GEC Karad is given in their website. I'll drop a link below so you can check that for yourselves. When I went through the list, I saw that most of the eligible candidates are getting placed. Both IT and Core companies are coming there. The salary package is OKAY, but that depends on your expectations and views.

This is one thing which was evident in the first year itself and was the reason for everybody to sign up, including me. Some of the good IT companies either visit the campus or have a pool campus where the students fare well. Corporates in Pune mostly have students from this college and a limited others in its vicinity. Their employees and alumni of GCEK, make it easier for the current students to expect and the chain continues. Through MH-CET, after the autonomous colleges(my time - COEP, VJTI, Walchand etc) the Govt. Colleges - Karad, Aurangabad, Amravati and two others, in the same order are the most successful ones, in terms of academic merit & placements. My batch-mates are doing good in their jobs. College has been made autonomous now.
