IPU offers Btech lateral entry through GGSIPU CET. You  will be alloted seat based on the rank obtained. Counseling will be conducted in which you will be alloted seat. You will also be admitted in the college through JEE MAINS 2019. The eligibility criteria for obtaining seat in Btech lateral entry course is, the student should complete three year diploma programme in engineering or technology or BSc mathematics with 60 percent aggregate score. Candidate with diploma in architecture are not eligible.

The applications for IPU CET will be available from first week of March until first week of May. The admit cards are to be realesed after first week of May. The exam contains 150 questions for 600 marks. All questions are multiple choice questions. The exam is expected to be conducted on 2nd or 3rd week of May. The mode of examination is offline and you will be two hours thirty minutes for answering your questions.

The application process is online. You will have to upload recent color passport size photo, signature and left hand thumb impression. The application fee is
Rs. 1000/-  which you will have to pay through online mode. The syllabus for IPU CET will based on that of 10+2. It contains equal weight age for physics, chemistry and mathematics, that is, 33.33 percent. Students are suggested to practice previous year papers and IPU CET  sample papers to polish their preparation.

i am providing you the full details and procedure for the admission done in ip university colleges.

For taking admission in B.TECH candidate must need to apper themself in IPU CET as the university conduct their own entrance exam, so candidate must need to register themself for IPU CET and clear the entrance exam for the further admission process.

• Candidate must need to full fill their basic eligibiloty criteria to get appear for the further admission process.
• candidate must need to register themself for the entrance exam.
• The ranks will be alloted to the candidate as per thir entrance exam.
• then after the seat allocation round takes place in which is known as counselling process , in this porcess the candidate need to select the colleges as per their prefrence.
• After selecting the colleges , seat will be alloted to the students as per the cut off and their prefrence.
• If the candidates does not does not get any of the seat in any of teh counselig proces then the candidaet can apply for spot counselling process which is held in offline mode. that is you need to visiit the university for this process.
• Then the verification process takes place , in which the verification of all the doccuments are done and the centres are alloted to teh candidates rank wise, andt the verification is mainly for sc/st.
• Then after the fees process in which candidates need to submit the DEMAND DRAFT of 40,000 INR.
• Rest of the fees will be submited in the college in which the admission is done.
