Hii..

Suppose in a particular board, the total number of candidates registered is 13918 and number of candidates appeared is 13711, the percentile of the candidate will be calculated in the following way-

For example : Where a student has scored 50% in the exam and there are 2218 candidates, who have scored less than the candidates, i.e., less than 50%:

2218  x 100 = 16.18

    13711

Here, the percentile score of the candidate from exam is 16.18 while his/her percentage in the exam is 50%.
