Hey Karan,
You can get admission in IIEST Shibpur by simply giving JEE Mains and performing well to get a good rank, that's all. There is no separate application for it. However, you must know it also has 50% reservation for home state students, i.e., students of West Bengal. It is a good college for Btech and is comparable, sometimes even better, to NIT Durgapur. So, you can understand that it holds a standard position.

Admission in Indian Institute of Engineering and Science Technology , Shibpur is done on the basis of the rank in JEE Main through JoSSA counseling and CSAB special round counseling .Yes, IIEST Shibpur is a very good college and has a NIRF ranking of 19 this year.

IIEST shibpur has been recognized as an institute of national importance by Government of India. It has also been cited rank 19 among engineering college as per NIRF. 

For B. Tech admission to IIEST one need to apply through Jee Score only. 

Counselling for IIEST is via JoSAA.  So,  once the registration begins for JoSAA you need to register and apply for IIEST as your priority. 

All the eligibility criteria are same as they are for NITs and IIITs.
