Hello,

MIT or Madras Institute of Technology offers both full time and part time course courses to the students. Admission to any of the UG courses is given on the basis of merit and the rank scored by the students in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions counseling. Then, the shortlisted candidates are allotted on the basis of merit.

Whereas, admission in PG courses is given on the basis of marks obtained in UG and other factors like how many attempts for the last exam etc. Students who have given examination like GATE are also eligible to apply for direct Admission. The minimum eligibility for a student is to have a bachelor's degree in the relevant stream.

There are several types of scholarships provided by the university to the students in which one can get a good amount depending on the family condition.
