NEET is completely NCERT based. If you have a good command over NCERTs, you can solve any question in the exam. More than 160 questions are directly from NCERTs and the remainder are also somehow related to NCERTs.
Biology
There will be 90 questions from biology section. At an average, more than 80 questions are direct lines from NCERTs. For biology preparation, you don't even require any other book besides NCERT.
Chemistry
Inorganic and physical chemistry
Even if you study only NCERTs, you would solve most of the questions provided you have the concepts. Physical chemistry is all about calculation. You know the formula, you can solve the question. Inorganic chemistry is lengthy but only NCERTs are enough.
Organic chemistry
Here comes the tricky part. This is the hardest but the most interesting part in chemistry. You need to know the basic concepts about a reaction, only then you can solve the questions. But you may find it difficult to understand all the reactions by studying NCERTs only. So, it is advised to refer some other book also. In my case, I referred OP Tandon but to be honest, it is much more vast than what is important for medical entrances.
Physics
It is perhaps the most feared subject among medical aspirants but actually it is easy at least easier than organic chemistry. Again, NCERTs are not that good for understanding. However, the questions given in the exercises are very good and important. You can refer books like SL Arora or HC Verma or any other. I studied from HC Verma and again it was much vast.
So, overall the only thing that you should remember is try to understand the concepts. Don't just cram. Solve questions to assess if you have understood the topic or not. And remember to study smart not hard!
All the best.

It just depends how many years are with you to give NEET, i.e., if you are in XI, then you have 2 years while 1 year if you are in XII.

Well I will say you assuming you are in XII. I have scored 658 marks in NEET 2018, using same technique. Hope it helps to you too!!

  • For Biology, I never went beyond NCERT. You know while you will be studying NCERT (of both XI or XII) you will get doubt, you will see on net or may be reference book for that. While clearing your doubt you automatically learns some points which are asked in exams under the tag of **Beyond NCERT**. Just Believe me!! But for this you need to be honest to yourself, to as I have doubt in this topic. Please please don't go too far beyond in Biology. Remember your target is to score max of 330 and not 360!
  • Well for Chemistry, I buyed Arihant Publications. While studying I got to know it is well more complex than required. But remember its really good for Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. But if you want to be simple with it, you can buy MTG. If you are weak in Physics I'll recommend you Arihant else, read my next point.
  • My biggest success in NEET was because I scored 160 in Physics. I prefered only one and only one book i.e., D.C. Pandey (Arihant Publications). Try each and every questions specially Level 2 questions. Get your doubt cleared from any sources you like (like teachers, Net etc.). One more thing I have done, is I have seen the videos from www.dronstudy.com which is just fantastic lecture. I recommend you to buy those. I guarantee that you will definitely score 130 above in Physics if you solved D.C. Pandey amd listen to lectures at Dronstudy

You must first understand that if you studying for competitive exams like NEET, hours don't matter. You would have to follow these points
You have to plan what you have to finish the next day when you are on bed for sleep.Do everything to complete your plan (planned last night). Again it is upto to you whether you have to go with one subject a day or collective in a day. But I strongly recommend to have collectively study (means all subjects) as you will never be bored of one subject. Again you can't always follow my 3rd point (as I was student too).
I hope you should have these points as target till this December (if you are giving NEET in May 2019).
Complete reading Biology (both XI and XII) from NCERT at least 2 times. If you are given a word you should remember its meaning (if not at least in which lesson it belongs to)Chemistry or Physics should be completed according to your choice
Any doubt you can ask me anytime on insta account birla.vikram (My name = Vikram Birla)
