How can we calculate cutoff for this year?

Hello!

Please specify the competitive exam you're talking about, as I'm assuming the JEE Mains Paper in answering this question. If not, please comment on this question itself.

Unfortunately, the only way to track cut offs is to see the trends in the previous years and even then we might be off the mark. I'm linking the previous years' cut-off here:

The cut-off differs as it also depens on the performance of all aspirants who have appeared for the examination. On the other hand, if you are sure of your performance, you could predict your rank as accurately as possible by using the Careers360 JEE Main predictor, which takes into account your category as well:
