Syllabus for first semester for MTech in Water Resource Engineering in NIT,Silchar consists of Applied Hydrology Core , Advanced Hydraulics Core,Unsteady Open Channel Flow Core, Computational Methods in Water Resources Engineering,Water Resources Engineering Lab as Core Subjects,  Electives to be chosen among the following:

iApplication of Remote Sensing and GIS in WRE , Economics of Water Resources Planning,Watershed Management , Flood Control and Drainage Engineering Computational Methods in Water Resources Engineering
