The admission process is divided into 3 parts and the composite score is decided on the basis of following. The Aptitude Test Score has the highest weight age.It is important to perform well in ATS as it is en elimination round. If the students doe not perform good in this round then they are not selected for Round 2.This test is taken by close to 15000 students check IIM Indore IPM Statistics Here



Out of that 1200 students are selected for PI and WAT round



So we see that only 8% students who appear in the entrance exam make it to the next level.



Preparation for Stage 1



It consist of questions on Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability and is a 2 hours exam.



For Quant (QA)



Practise the NCERT Questions as well as the questions from Sample Papers . If you were a PCM student then this section will be little easy for you. The students who have discontinued with Maths after 10th have to practise more.



Verbal Ability (VA)



Wren and Martin is good for the Verbal Ability Section.



Read Newspapers ( It will help in increasing your reading speed)



The Questions are not that easy and it is important that you start preparing for it now as the exam this year is on 16 May.

IIM IPM admission gives 50% importance to entrance score & 50% to PI WAT. So, good performance in exam is just a half job done

Additionally, IPM raw score to aptitude test score conversion uses a complicated formula. Going by conventional wisdom, 75% attempt with 80% accuracy fetches a raw score of 225-230 which should increase your chances of PI WAT call. While one should eye this score in mocks, set a realistic expectation of a good score during the test depending on difficulty level of the paper without setting any pre conceived notions before the test
