HK means candidates belonging to Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) Region

and GM means general merit

The COMEDK-UGET provides admission for resereved categories.

Apart from SC/ST/other backward class and linguistic minority HK is one of the reserved category

to claim reservation under HK you need to fulfil following eligibility criteria 

Should belong to Karnataka by birth or domicile.

Should have done at least 7 years of schooling from Karnataka and must have passed either class X or class XII qualifying exam from Karnataka.

OR

Should have passed class XI and XII from Karnataka and either of the candidate’s parents should have done at least 7 years of their schooling from Karnataka.
