You can consider it as an above average option as it has got mix reviews overall. Also, for doing B.Tech this is not that much in demand like VIT, SRM, BITS, MANIPAL etc.
So I would suggest if you only have this option in your hand and you don't want to waste your 1 year. Then you can go for it.
