Acharya Institute of Technology on the whole is a great Institute for Engineering. And as Anirudhha purohit already said, it depends on different departments. I was a student of Information Science, and this branch is really one of the best branches in AIT. It has got knowledgeable faculties and most importantly the HOD,

In engineering, what you feel is, if you want to learn something, learn by your own, faculties will only guide you to the right path. Hence it doesn't matter which branch you choose you will do great.

In terms of infrastructure, it has got really great one. It has got one of the best college fest of Bangalore, Acharya Habba.

In terms of placement, mostly IT companies come, and very few for mechanical. I don't know about other branches. But most of the companies allow all the departments.
