Here are some of the points regarding the university collected from the reviews given by its students.

• Great campus, sports facilities for all kinds of sports such as cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, indoor stadiums plus swimming pool where students can improve their skills, large hostels(all single room) contribute to its quite attractive infrastructure.
• The fees are quite high which is 90K per year for General category. But scholarship amounts are being offered to meritorious students and reserved category students.
• You will not find a very good placement record at present but the University is trying it's best to improve in that. Few start-ups come in for placements with decent packages. The average package offered: 2.5 LPA and the highest package offered: 5.25 LPA
• The gender ratio in this university is 3:5 with a minority of girls.
• The labs are well equipped with modern tools and technology.
• All the faculty in this college are M.Tech as well as PhD graduates. The number of permanent faculties here is less but good guest faculties visit the institution.

You can consider this as your choice after trying for other reputed private or government universities. You will enjoy a great campus here but in terms of education, you can find still better institutes. Although this being a government university will have an edge over the private ones.

Recently, the Chief Minister of UP has been looking over the University activities and there are chances that it could soon become a central university. Hence, this can be seen as a positive factor for the betterment of this institution.
