Mechanical engineering stream of Jaypee university, Guna is most reputed stream among all the streams that are present in the Guna campus. The infrastructure of mechanical labs is very good and they are very well equipped with all the modern day machines and instruments that you will not find in many colleges.

Headed by Dr. Sanat Agarwal, the faculty of mechanical engineering are all very well qualified. They will clear all your doubts and teach you the basics.

 The placements for mechanical engineering from Guna campus are not that good. You will hardly find any core companies coming to the campus and this is the major drawback of this university. The placement cell of the college is totally dependent on Noida campus and since Noida campus is not having mechanical engineering as a stream in their college, they don't care about the mechanical guys.

Keeping only education in mind the college is very good for mechanical guys though there is a lack of exposure and placements.
