Dear Padma, it is quite common to have apprehensions when you are starting anew journey. Medical field is one that demands your time and energy from the day you set your foot in the Medical College. There are atleast 100-150 new students like you who might be leaving their houses for the first time. For few it might be adventurous while for few it might be scary. But time will fly before you experience any of these. You will may be have Orientation classes, sometimes Faculty introducing themselves to you. With strict anti ragging policies any ragging of whatsoever intensity will be not allowed. So you can relax. Studies, first year you study Anatomy, Physiology and Bio Chemistry. They need your utmost attention so you may have to dig into books from the very first month of joining the College. You will have to attend Medical College Hospitals for Anatomy classes.
