Dear Aspirant,

Electrical and Electronics Engineering department has a good bunch of faculties with good experience. However, few of them (not all) lack teaching skills. But to be honest it doesn't matters if you are interested in the subject. Each and everything is properly taught and the practical is taken with due attention. Most of the people who are eligible to sit for placements are placed, a lot of core companies visit VNIT and if you maintain a decent pointer here you will get it.

However, it's one of the most exhaustive studies. You will hardly get any time for other activities compared to other branches. If you are looking for doing a major carrier in the core, i.e. thinking of a job in the electrical engineering sector then it's all perfect for you. However, you should always keep researching yourself and then decide whether you are going for the core or IT sector or management. At the time of joining the college, I don't think it was the perfect time to decide on all these things. Just some advice if you are having the minutest chance of getting ECE in a special round or so, go for it!

The maximum package for EEE branch of NIT NAGPUR has gone up to around 19 LPA and the minimum package has been between 3-5 LPA. And talking about an average package, it has been around 6-8 LPA.
