NIT Surathkal is a very good one among all the NITS, since you chose Computer Science Engineering branch, many Multinational Companies visit this campus to offer jobs with salary packages 8-10 LPA as a fresher. You will get plenty good opportunities in future to explore your career goals.

Hi,

The Placement of Civil Engineering in NIT Surathkal is good but not as good as CSE, ECE. On an average around 80-90% students got placed but their average package is around 5-6 lakh which is quite low when compared to other branches. Since not many core Companies recruit these days, its get a bit Difficult to get placed in Civil Engineering while compared to other branches.
