Hi Atul,

The score band is proportional to the eminence of the institute in which you are applying, a good score would of 7.5 would get a bunch of fair institutes.

Good luck

Hello Atul,

I am assuming that you are enquiring about the IELTS band requirement for pursuing undergraduate education abroad after 12th standard. The band requirement varies depending on the course of admission as well as the college.

For the best colleges, canditates are required to have an IELTS score above the 7.5 band. On the other hand, for most colleges, the minimum requirement is generally 6.5. A score below 6 is accepted very rarely by most reputed colleges, therefore it is best to aim for 7 and higher.

Additionally, many universities and colleges have individual score requirements for each section i.e. reading, writing, speaking and listening. This requirement varies from college to college but is also generally 6.5+.

Please let me know if this clarified your doubts.
