Dear Aspirant ,

Ews stands for Economically weaker section .This the sub category of general.the people which have Income less than 8lakh fall under this category.The no of applied candidate's in ews category for previous year was around 37k but for this year official data is not released by nta.The. Cutoff for ews category was 78 percentile last year.The cutoff depends on many factors due to which cutoff varies every year. This year no of candidates for ews category can change this year.
