Hello Student,

A lot of inorganic chemistry questions are asked directly from NCERT lines and that is why many rankers suggest NCERT for studying the inorganic part. I myself cracked NEET with an AIR of 3166(UR)  and chemistry score of 167. Topics like inorganic chemistry , biomolecules , polymers , chemistry in everyday life and environmental science have question asked from NCERT directly in NEET.

In NEET 2019 as per I remember 10 - 15 chemistry questions were directly based on NCERT.

But for other topics of organic and physical chemistry knowledge beyond NCERT is needed. Concepts are same but the style of question is different. So I suggest you practice variety of questions for organic and physical chemistry. For Inorganic go with NCERT without any doubts, read between the lines.

After reading NCERT inorganic part, you can check the past 10 years NEET question paper , you will find the same lines from NCERT are given as questions.

Hope this helps.
