A few points I would like to mention before telling you the cutoffs

Although the trend of admission in the government colleges of West Bengal over the last few years has been medical college Kolkata followed by nrs medical college and then ipgmer Kolkata along with Rg kar medical college and national medical college - going by the standards of education as well as the overall development of all the medical colleges across Kolkata NRS and ipgmer are possibly the best to be obtained for at the present situation.
Since NRS is usually opted for by students who either have a fascination for the college or do not make it to medical college Kolkata, usually goes from state rank 150 onwards to 300 are mostly the once you get into nrs medical college availing the unreserved category going by the state ranks.
IN GENERAL THAT WOULD BE OBTAINED BY STUDENTS WHO ARE DEFINITELY EMERGING AS THE TOP 3000 TO 4000 OF THE ALL INDIA RANKERS FOR WHICH MARKS RANGE IN EXCESS OF 520 TO 540 MARKS ARE REQUIRED OUT OF 720 BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP YOUR aim ABOVE 500 MARKS AT LEAST IN ORDER TO SECURE A SEAT IN NRS.
ALL THE CUT OFFS MAY VARY DEPENDING UPON THE STANDARD OF QUESTIONS AND RELATIVE PERFORMANCE OF THE DIFFERENT STUDENTS APPEARING FOR THE EXAMINATION.
