Hi Aspirant

You need to score much more than other category students in order to get seats. The compitition becomes very tough for you.Minimum you need to score 560 and try to score more than 560 so that you might not face the situation where you are called for counselling but you miss it due to 4-5 marks.Always try to score as much possible .

if you are in general category and you want to get admitted into MBBS you should be trying to score in excess of 500 if not in excess of 550 auto 720 to get into a recent government medical college availing the 85% state quota series although it will depend on which state you want to get into or have the domicile of apart from the fact that states like Delhi might be having have cut off while those like West Bengal might be having a competitive lower cutoff
however in case you want a seat in other state then you are one of domicile availing the 15% all India quota then you will have to score in excess of 550 to 600 out of 720 so that you can easily make it through to the supreme medical colleges of India
