Hello

To join JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) for undergraduate courses like B.Tech or similar, the marks you need depend on the specific entrance exam and the course you are applying for,  JNTU usually admits students based on :

1. JEE Main : If you are applying through JEE Main , the required rank will depend on the specific branch you are interested . rank under 20,000 is competitive for popular branches.

2. TS EAMCET : For students from Telangana, this is the state-level entrance exam. The marks required will vary depending on your category ( General, OBC, SC ) and the branch. For general category students, marks above 70-80 out of 160 are generally competitive for top branches.

Hope this helps you .

ALL THE BEST

The marks needed for admission to JNTU depend on the course and your category. For competitive branches, a score above 100 in JEE Mains can improve your chances. However, the cutoff changes each year, so it’s best to check the official JNTU guidelines.
