JEE Main 2025: College Predictor | Marks vs Percentile vs Rank
New: JEE Seat Matrix- IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTI | NITs Cutoff
Latest: Meet B.Tech expert in your city to shortlist colleges
Hey aspirant, Delhi Technical University (DTU) is one of the prestigious engeeniring colleges in Delhi. This college is renowned for its study culture and student-friendly environment.
If you are not a resident of Delhi and wants to get admission in DTU then you will have to work really hard and score as many marks as you can in your JEE Mains exam.
For a Delhi resident, scoring above 150 is more than enough to get admission in DTU but for the one from outside Delhi even scoring above 200 is not enough.
I would suggest you should focus on your concepts rather than the mere score you need to achieve for your dream college.
For the previous year cutoffs of DTU you must visit the link below:

Hope it helps.
Goodluck
Hello Abhishek,
DTU is one of the most sought after college by engineering aspirants.
Admission in DTU depends upon many factors like the branch you want, whether you belong to Delhi or not and whether you belong to the minority communities.
The JEE mains rank for various branches last year after sixth round of counseling for general category students was:
1- Delhi region
2- Outside Delhi:
So you can see that cut off ranks are very high if you want to have any software branches while non-circuital branches have relatively lower cut off's.
From 2019 JEE mains is being conducted by NTA and so cut off scores may vary a little but to be on the safer side you must try to score more than last year cut off.
If you score above 250 your rank will be near to 3000 and then you can expect to get a branch of your choice else you can get admission in DTU if you cross 150 marks.
All the best.
