Hello
It will depend on your category caste and the specific branch you need.( State ; caste category; branch ; number of applicants for the seat etc).
But to be get admitted I think you should secure a rank under 3-4 thousand.
For this you have to score more than 260+ marks accordingly.
But this statistics may vary depending upon number of students and exam difficulty level.

hello gowshik,

according to previous years cut off, you have to score rank under 9-10k to get a seat. For top branch like CSE, ME, CE your rank must be under 5k. this data may vary every year.
