There are approximately a total of 3060 seats in Maharashtra for MBBS in government colleges out of which 2606 come under 85% state quota. There are 22 government medical colleges in Maharashtra.
Again 19 private MBBS colleges available, and there are 2070 seats available in them.
A total of 260 seats are available in the 4 BDS government colleges of Maharashtra out of which 222 come under the 85% state quota.

The usual cutoff of Mumbai MBBS government college ranges above 550 usually. In 2018, the lowest was 537 in Rajiv Gandhi Medical College, Kalwa and in 2019 it went up-to 561. Outside Mumbai, the closing cutoffs are in the range of 510-530. So you need to score above 550 to ensure your seat in government MBBS college.
BDS cutoffs will be around 480-520.
