Thanks for contacting Careers 360.
For a general/unreserved candidate, 550+ marks is required in NEET UG Entrance Examination to get an MBBS Seat in a decent government college via All India Quota. However cut off varies from year to year, so I would suggest you to target for a score of 570+ for a sure shot selection.
However cut off gets lower if you want to obtain a seat via State Quota. Comment below your state and I shall say you the cut off and marks you need to target for to get a medical seat in your state.
Thank You
Best Of Luck
Hello Manoj,
As per your query about marks cutoff, you must be knowing that there is All India Quota 15 % and State government quota 85%...
Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota..Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC , OBC , ST, etc..It will vary for each groupThe Cutoff also vary in Government, Private and Deemed UniversityAlso difffer college to college even in government /private/deeemedThe marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper
But going by previous trend mbbs seat for general category required marks around 550 - 650 marks range..
I hope you get it.
