Density refers to the mass present in unit volume of the material.

Density = Mass/Volume

This equation can be seen in the text books of class 11 and 12 text books of chemistry and is of much application in solving many problems in biology and chemistry.

The density of water is 1 g/mL or 1 kg/L. Thus every 1 mL and every 1 L of water weighs 1 g and 1 kg respectively.

The density of sulphuric acid is 1.84 g/mL. So every 1 mL of sulphuric acid contain 1.84 g.

The answer to the question is 1 mL.

You can convert the above equation in the form to find volume as well as mass to solve problems in chemistry.
