A Minimum of 550 is must to be eligible for Selection rounds.

The Institute short-lists the candidates to be called for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The WAT, GD & PI are held in several cities all over India. The final selection is on the basis of XAT/CAT/GMAT score, Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (which considers the academic record and work experience also).

The XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar) requires a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.

Generally, the Gmat cutoff ranges near to 580 as per past year trneds.

For CAT and XAT cutoff stands at 95 percentile.

There is no fixed intake or seat allocation for any particular exam and hence number of students shall vary evry year.

The total average placement salary reported at XIMB is around 11.2lakhs per annum.
