Rotation is the spinning of the Earth on its own axis, causing day and night (completes in 24 hours). Revolution is the movement of the Earth around the Sun, causing seasons (completes in about 365 days). For a detailed difference, students can use the NCERT Solution for Class 7 Science Chapter 12 Earth, Moon, and the Sun.
