Mains is relatively easier than advanced and that's why it's a screening test to filter some top 90 percentile aspirants for jee advanced.


Mains: 90 question, 180 minutes. All single option correct type. They add some question from out of syllabus ( generally in chemistry) so that to stop anyone from scoring 360/360. But this year even this record was broken. NCERT is more than enough for chemistry , Dinesh and pradeep is enough for physics ( HC verna is best though) and RD sharma is enough for mathematics.
