Hi sai,
According to mewly implemented scheme of ews quota about to 10 percent of the general candidates
Seats are reserved.

This category applies to the students who has a annual family income of less than 8 lac.

This has improved chances for general category student to get seats into india prestigious college of engineering like nits or iiits.
