how many times can we attempt NEXT phase 1 exam if we didn't get our desired branch?

Hey!

SInce you didn't mention the name of the exam, let me give you the details about JEE and NEET.

A student can appear for JEE Main for three times. Candidates can appear for two consecutive times for JEE Advanced. JEE Main will be held twice in a year. Candidates can appear for both the exams and their attempt will be considered as 1 only.

There may be 9 attempts (GEN/OBC category) & 14 attempts (Reserved category) to qualify the NEET exam. This limit is started from 17 years of the candidate to 25 years (GEN/OBC) & 30 years (Reserved category).
