Dear Student,

Inertia: It is a property of matter by which it oppose any type of change in it , whether it is rest ,motion,direction etc. Inertia has only three types .

1. Inertia of Rest: When the resistance is offered by the body to continue in the state of rest unless an external force acts on it.
2. Inertia of Motion: When the resistance is offered by the body to be continue in the state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
3. Inertia of Direction: When the resistance is offered by the body to be continue in uniform direction unless an external force is applied on it.

These are only and only types of inertia ,further there are no types of inertia of motion.
