Aditya, Intermediate is 2 years. You study 1st year and 2nd year. Now you need to complete your 10th from any recognised board to study Intermediate. You have various subjects that you can study in your Intermediate. Like Mathematics, Science, Arts, Humanities, etc. You can study M.P.C, Bi.P.C. H.E.C, CEC. MEC, M.Bi.P.C and various other streams depending on where you want to see yourself. For example if you want to become an Engineer, then you have to take up MPC because Mathematics is a mandatory subject for studying B.Tech. If you want to become a Doctor, then Bi.PC should be your stream. CBSE released a list of courses for students after 12th. This list will tell you which course has which options. So before taking up any subject or stream, we would suggest you to go through once.
