JEE Main score is only valid for oneyears after JEE Main results are declared. You can make use of your jee result up to one years for attaining admission in your choice of institution . No candidate is allowed to take admission through JEE main marks  belonging to previous year.

So, to take admission in a college on the basis of JEE main marks you need to qualify JEE main in that year in which you are willing to start your college life.
