Dear aspirant,

The cutoff marks for each category differs from year to year depending upon the overall marks of all the students. But it is around 550-580 for OBC category

All the best!

hi kamraj. first of all i would like to say that it varies every year. but i would say that if you belong to OBC aim a score of 560 plus to get in a very good college under 15 percent quota, and for state quota, it depends on the state but an aim of 500 plus would be a safe bet. so look out and aim for that. solve as many questions as you can and understand, check and rectify your mistakes and do it again. good luck.

Hi

For OBC category, to get medical seat in govt colleges in major institutions would be 520-530 under 15% All India quota

Whereas minimum of 475 in other govt. Colleges which may have few issues in infrastructure and faculty experience under 15 % quota.

For 85% quota, It varies in each state ranging from 440 in Tamil Nadu to 540-550 in UP, Rajasthan - under OBC Category

Goodluck

Hey hi,

The no of marks required cannot be said as it varies from year to year based on the difficulty level of the questions.

My suggestion is that you score as high as possible to get a govt. college.

Hello, i think you ask about obc category. If you are belong to obc category  i would like to tell you , you must be knowing that there is All India Quota 15 % and State government quota 85%...

Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota..Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC , OBC , ST, etc..It will vary for each groupThe Cutoff also vary in Government, Private and Deemed UniversityAlso difffer college to college even in government /private/deeemedThe marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper

BUT GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND A MBBS SEAT is obtained around 460- 480 marks range under all india quota.

Best of luck
