Hi Aspirant,
                    BITS Pilani conducts a separate test for MTech admission known as the BItS HD exam. Untill this year there was no other way to get an admit in BITS. This year, due to rise in seats, they are accepting GATE scores too. Probably they would make a separate list of GATE qualified student and BITS HD qualified students.

Nobody can tell about the exact cutoffs, but according to sources the cutoffs will high rather the previous years. Here cutoffs of previous years.

  • GATE cutoff for BITS PILANI :

CIVIL ENGINEERING : 274(2018),294(2017),314(2016),326(2015)

Dear Malladi,


As from the previous year's cutoffs you have to score around 350. Below are the previous year's cutoffs.

Civil Engineering: 274 for 2018, 294 for 2017, 314 for 2016, 312 for 2015, 322 for 2014.
